School Intensive Program

The Maccabi Aquatics School Program provides high-quality swimming instruction in a safe, supportive and engaging environment.

We believe every student should have the opportunity to develop essential swimming and water safety skills while enjoying a positive experience in the pool. Our experienced teachers combine professional instruction with enthusiasm and encouragement, helping students build confidence, improve their technique and achieve their individual potential.

Our programs can be tailored to suit the needs and abilities of each school and student cohort, whether the focus is on water safety, swimming skills, stroke development, fitness or preparing students for future swimming opportunities.

Qualified and Experienced Teachers

Maccabi Aquatics is both a Swim Australia registered and accredited swim school and an AUSTSWIM accredited swim school.

All of our swimming teachers hold, as a minimum:

• AUSTSWIM and/or Swim Australia Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualifications
• Current CPR certification
• Current Working with Children Checks

The Pool

School swimming is conducted at the Bialik College Gringlas Sports Centre, providing an excellent environment for students to learn and develop their swimming skills.

The facility features:

• A 25-metre, 8-lane heated pool
• Water maintained at approximately 30°C
• Heated surrounding air temperature of approximately 30°C
• Chlorinated water with powerful UV filtration
• High-quality water management to provide a clean and comfortable swimming environment

The warm water and surrounding air temperature help create a comfortable environment for students, allowing them to focus on learning and developing their swimming skills.

Developing Skills for Life

Our Schools Program is about more than learning to swim. We aim to equip every student with the skills, confidence and water awareness they need to be safer and more capable around water.

Through quality instruction, encouragement and a positive learning environment, Maccabi Aquatics helps students become confident swimmers who can continue developing their skills both in and beyond the school swimming program.
