Maccabi Ajax Swimming Club

Maccabi Ajax Swimming Club (MASC) was founded over 80 years ago, and after several years of inactivity, the Club was proudly revived in November 2021.

MASC is registered with Swimming Victoria and Masters Swimming Victoria, giving our members a genuine pathway into competition at every level. The Club is partnered with Maccabi Aquatics, a full-service swim school that provides all coaching, squad programs and support for Club members.

Squad Programs

Our Squad program consists of five levels, plus Masters Squads:

  • Junior Squad
  • Junior Development Squad
  • Target Squad
  • State Development Squad
  • State Squad

Squad swimmers attend multiple sessions a week and compete at swim meets under the Maccabi Ajax Swimming Club banner.

The most important training sessions each week are Friday Club Night for Junior and Junior Development Squad, and Saturday Club Morning for Target, State Development and State Squad. These Club sessions help swimmers bond as a team and build extra racing knowledge and skills — we hope to see every swimmer at their relevant session.

Maccabi Ajax Swimming Club thrives because of the passion and support of our members and their families. Our swimmers bring energy, dedication and enthusiasm to the Club, helping create a vibrant, motivating environment for everyone.

Equally important are the members and parents who volunteer on the committee, organising events, managing resources and keeping the Club running smoothly. We’re always looking for more parents to get involved — it’s a great way to meet other families, support your swimmer’s development, and help build a positive environment for all swimmers.

As a not-for-profit organisation, the Club is administered by volunteers and funded through membership and events, with all income reinvested back into squad development and event participation.

All swimmers in Target, State Development and State Squad are required to register with Maccabi Ajax Swimming Club for the 2026/2027 season. We also strongly encourage Junior and Junior Development Squad swimmers to join and support the Club this season.

How to Join

  1. Create or log in to your Swim Central account at swimcentral.swimming.org.au.
  2. Add your swimmer’s details and select the 2026/27 Competitive Swimmer Membership.
  3. Complete payment to finalise registration. Parents/guardians of swimmers under 18 will also need to hold a Dry Membership with Swim Central.

You’ll receive a confirmation email once registration is complete, and your swimmer will be ready to take part in Maccabi Ajax Swimming Club.
